JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and payments. This role involves managing a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
• Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing clients.
• Monitor aged receivables and implement collection strategies to minimize delinquency.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service departments to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and metrics for management review.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the department.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with strong complimentary experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and financial principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
